Morning fello readers.

A little position update and report on the first night. We turned north up the west coast of Antigua and set main and genoa. Consistent 15 knots of easterly wind on the beam made for a great sail through the night with speed over ground averaging 9 knots. So far we've covered 140 miles in 16 hours.... we're going well! The rudder feels the best its ever felt...really light and responsive. And 'the riggerman' seams to have done a great job sorting out our spaghetti pole.

We've re-spooled the rods (Seamen Stains and Captain Hook) and we just had our first bite. Was a small Mahi Mahi, not big enough to bother with so let him go home to his missus.

We've got clear skies, lots of sun, and still 15 knots of wind although the forecast predicts that may drop this afternoon.

All for now....Shalan out
