We left Phare Bleu and sailed to Tyrell Bay, Carriacou.  Part of Grenada, it was populated by Caribs from Venezuela until the Europeans arrived with disease and slavery.  The islands were then farmed for cotton and sugar before tourisim took over as the main source of income.

Richard and I went scuba diving. This had been a spectacular dive in March and  it delivered on its promise again.  Here are the  some of the last Scuba Diving photos I will ever take:

From Carriacou we  sailed to Union Island to check into St Vincent and The Grenadines and then on to Tobago Cays where we stayed for a couple of nights before an unscheduled stop at Mustique

Here I went to see a doctor because I have been deaf in one ear since the Carriacou dive.

Now, no stop at Mustique is complete without a visit to Basil’s Bar which in mid November was eerily empty – we were pretty much the only customers and so benefitted from attentive service:

From there to Bequia, thence a couple of nights in Marigot Bay, St Lucia before coming on up the coast to Rodney Bay.

Simone, Richard and Eva returned home yesterday leaving me with a list of jobs as long as ones proverbial….  One of which is to get an appointment with an ENT specialist in Martinique.
