Today's Blog by Peter (Time zone: UTC – 3.0)

In today’s missive I intend to cover our arrival in Tobago. Before I do, I want to thank all of you who have been good enough to confess that you do, sporadically or otherwise, read this Blog. Very helpful. You are doubtless hoping that I will publish the results of this survey – and I will – HOWEVER,  at this stage I know the data is incomplete. There are people out there who I know are looking but who are not showing themselves.  You can get arrested for that can’t you?

So in summary I appreciate that it involves you in a little effort but I would be grateful if you would send an email to a ‘one time’ email address. As follows.

 Serendipityaudit AT aol.co.uk

[If I have been really clever, then if you click the link it will automatically create the email  for you (… but don’t hold your breath). If it doesn’t work then you will need to create the email yourself.  I have removed the @ in order to disable web crawlers etc. sending spam. So you will need to replace  ‘AT’– as well as the spaces -  with ‘@’ . ]

Simply ending the email tells us that you are watching the blog  – It would be interesting if you would also indicate how avidly you read it on the following scale:    ‘Frequently’: ‘Regularly’: ‘Sporadically’ or ‘Occasionally’

Our Arrival in Tobago

We arrive yesterday morning, checked into Customs and Immigration in the afternoon and collapsed for dinner aboard last night.  Proabbly the fastest long passage we have done, having made good 203 miles each day for 12 days. (Since the current turned favourable eight days ago,  we averaged 221 miles per day).

Tobago is one of the less stressed sailing experiences in the Caribbean – less stressed because the continual procession of ‘boat boys’ keen to make a buck somehow or other is completely absent. Today Peter and I  went Scuba diving; it was good.
