Hi all,

WE ARE IN THE PACIFIC, WOO HOO.

The panama canal was easy peasy. We had john and Jane from the Kiwi boat Tara3(old mates of steve and dee from their brisbane days) on board to make up the numbers required as line handlers. It all went like clock work.
The night spent in the lake at the top was stunning.  It would be great to spend a week cruising it but they charge up to 500 usd per day for the privilege.
We have moored at the Balboa yacht club which is a real tip. Worlds most unfriendly staff and thats even after the staff at shelter bay. On the upside, Panama city is safer than Colon so we can have a look around when we go in in for a last shop.
We will drop more pics on in the morning. The jungle pics of the batteries are up the hill from shelter bay marina.  There are a series of 1914 era bunkers built by the yanks to protect the canal

ciao.
