We ended up spending three weeks in Parkstone Marina, which was very nice and very convenient. We managed to make Sea Topaz a lot lighter by removing most of our personal effects.
Ewan, Jem and the kids used the boat as their temporary accommodation, while we Unfortunately the weather was not great over this period with a lot of rain and wind.
The Belgium couple came and went after leaving us with a very low offer that we could not accept.
On August 4th we moved to Studland Bay for the night and a very early start in the morning for our trip to Portsmouth, the weather was kind and we managed to sail a bit. Cowes was extremely busy with hundreds of boats on the water. We arrived in WicorMarine early evening and tied the boat up on our designated berth, with a bit of help of our new neighbour.
We spent the night on board; tidied the boat up and then took the train to Parkstone, where Kirsten picked us up.
