After Bozubrum we did not go far. Took lines ashore near
Kiseli Adasi and visited the ruins on the small island. Just as we did with
Kirsten on board Kamita (our previous boat) ten years ago.
From there we had the one and only decent sail whilst
Maria was on board. We stopped in Bozuk Buku where we took a buoy with a
line ashore. We walked up to the citadel late afternoon and had a meal at
Ali Baba's. Next moring we went the short distance to Serce Limani; probably the
nicest bay in the area. We took a buoy and therefore had a meal in the
restaurant.
Early start next morning to go all the way to Yacht
Marina in Marmaris where we booked a hire car and then took Maria back to
Dalaman Airport the early next morning. We really enjoyed our time
together, but all good things come to an end.
We will spend a few days in the marina to see
contractors for the repaint of the hull. We also need a refrigiration
engineer.
It has been quite windy the last few afternoons. Not
much fun on B-dock where you get the waves and the wind and it is a very long
walk to anywhere; 12 min to the office!
Hopefully we can leave tomorrow in the direction of
Gocek, from where we will collect Kirsten, Mark
and Lanah from the airport!! Not long now....
