The overnight sail to Langkawi was not as pleasant as the one to Penang. The sea was very lumpy with some high waves to motor into. After 12 hours at sea we anchored in a bay on the south side of Langkawi at about 3 o'clock and spent the rest of the night there. it was still a full moon so visibility was good.
We have now been in Rebak Marina for a few days. It is quite a big marina in a natural harbour on a small island. We are surrounded by hills. It is a well organised marina and it is lovely to catch up with other boats.
Langkawi is a good place for boat shopping and is duty free, so we have stocked up on spirits and wine.
We'll spend a couple of weeks here and explored the lovely bays on various islands.

The entrance to Rebak marina is hard to see from a distance
