Sea Topaz

We are making good progress with the work on Sea Topaz. The varnishing is all done now, one more part to do on the painting of the super structure. The rust has nearly all been attacked, one more (difficult) place to do. Duncan has spent the last two days in the lazarettes to combat the rust in there. We did this three years ago, but the ropes in there were really dirty and the walls rusty. So I washed ropes and cleaned stuff that was in there, repainted the lids and shelves. We are now ready to seal and paint. We are no longer on our own, a few more cruisers have arrived so live is a bit more sociable. We enjoy going out in the evenings for our meals.
