Another week has gone by and we are still in Savu savu. We had an exciting sail from Oneata, with the waves and wind from behind, so we arrived back in Savusavu quite quickly, only to find that the place was full and there was no mooring buoy for us. We anchored for one night off the Cousteau Resort, an hour short of the creek, so we could catch up on sleep and motor sailed into Savusavu the next morning, anchored there for one more night until we got a buoy. Then the fun started with sorting out the faulty batteries they had sold us when we were here last and the 24v alternator, which had burned out as a result. We finally got some new replacement batteries today so they will be installed this afternoon by my expert husband (he is learning more all the time). I,  in the meantime revarnished the wood in the cockpit as we were going to be here for a while.
We do have some fun too, meeting up with old friends and making new ones, the restaurants are not too bad either.
We hope to move west in the next couple of days and make our way to the Yasawa islands.
