It has been a while since the last news from us. We have not really done much. We went back onto Nieafu. Went out for meals with friends, did some work on the boat and on planning our remaining time in Tonga. We left the Vava'u group last night for what we thought might be a pleasant sail, but it was not. The wind was almost on the nose with big waves, occasional rain and it was cold. We finally dropped anchor at around three o'clock and had some lunch, having missed breakfast and coffee. It does not look as if the weather is going to improve much over the next few days. We will see tomorrow what we'll do with our time here. We have signed up for the All Points Rally from Tongatapu to Opua in New Zealand. This is due to leave Tongatapu between 1-5 Nov depending on the weather. Should be fun, we know some of the boats that have joined up as well.
Not long to go now....
