Saint George's Bay, Bermuda. 32 22.5N, 64 40.5W.

We finally arrived here on the 27th April after another Sea Spray epic.

We had a day of absolute calm and finished off in a gale, and in between I managed to tear the cruising chute in a squall, the charging system failed and so we had to hand steer during the last three days, but the boat handled very well in the gale with just the yankee up in the end.

All good things come to an end as the saying goes, and today we say good-bye to Christian as he goes home to plan his future. We wish him well and thank him for all he has done for us.

Tomorrow Andy returns home after spending just over eight months with us. I am his debt for all he has gone through and I have to say it has been a real pleasure having his company on Sea Spray. He will be missed!

The next few weeks are a bit uncertain at the moment as there is a lot of work to be done on Sea Spray but Ian and I will discuss our options once all the repair work has been done. In the meantime, we will enjoy this wonderful (if expensive|) island.
