Rodney Bay, St Lucia.

We arrived back here yesterday morning at about 10 am after an early start (for some of us!) from Soufriere. The day was spent mostly sorting out boat issues, repairs and laundry. Our new control unit for the auto-pilot was also installed and we took Sea Spray out for a couple of hours this morning and put the system through it’s paces and all seems well at last.

We are now waiting for some spare parts for the Furlex system (the device that rolls the front sail around the forestay) and we have had confirmation that they have been despatched from the U.S.A. this morning and we expect them to be here by Saturday morning at the latest.

We will then leave here and go to Dominica, where Louise and Ian are researching what we will be doing there for a few days.
