Position 28 00N, 16 39W, Marina del Sur, Tenerife. The last two weeks have been very enjoyable with the pace of life being quite relaxed. We were in La Gomera when they had the freak flash-flooding, but the island was quick to recover. It seems that Galicia was affected even worse.
We have spent our time between being in marinas and anchoring off Los Cristianos, which worked well apart from when the ferry left the port. This created a very strong wash which rolled the boat badly.
As it is half term in England, our second set of visitors are joining us tonight, with Andy and his partner, Kerrie, are going back to La Gomera for a few days for a holiday. Deb and her son will be joining Sea Spray to do some sailing for a few days whilst Ian is getting ready to walk up Mount Teide on Thursday and Friday. Very conveniently, Ian has managed to enrol onto a Yachtmaster Offshore theory course when we return to Lanzarote a week today.
Otherwise, apart from a lost wallet and a lost phone, the pace of life is quite gentle!
