A very wet, miserable day spent on the boat except for a short
interlude around lunchtime when we able to go to the local supermarket
for more supplies. We are both getting very bored now waiting for the
boatyard to call us. How many games of cards can you play in a day?
07/06/2010 Halte Fluviale, Moret-sur-Loing.
First thing I called in at Rousseau’s boat yard and was told that if we
brought the boat up to the yard tomorrow they would start work on the
repairs to the gearbox. Yippee! The rest of the morning was spent doing
domestic chores, cleaning and tidying the boat and doing the washing.
In the afternoon we went for a ride down the tow path to the village of
Eucelles. Had a look in the old church and then, like most good
Christians went and a had a beer in the local tabac. Another beautiful
hot day.
