Today we went to the the second of the Iles D'Hyeres - Ile Port-Cros. With 10/13knots of wind and calm seas we had a lovely sail for the 8 mile trip. It is now warm enough that shorts and teashirt is all that is needed first thing in the morning and for sailing.

Port Cros is a small cove with a number of mooring buoys laid out - free too - with a few houses and restaurants and that is it.

A lovely spot - Being a bank holiday weekend it was quite busy and luckily we got a buoy as many others had to drop their anchor just outside the bay. Again I dread to think of how crowded this would be mid summer.

The water is warming up, just over 18 degrees - so rather like the UK in August. A few people were swimming but I need a couple more degrees before I venture in.
