We are now back in Fajardo and dropped off Alex and Naomi at the airport on Sunday. Since then we have been 'putting the boat to bed' before we fly home tomorrow for 3 weeks of what looks like proper winter weather! We haven't been home at this time of year since 2011, so it will be a bit of a shock!
On Tuesday 12 February we return to the boat, and within a few days hope to be off travelling again. We need to bring some parts back to fix the fridge which has been a bit 'iffy' for a while - the engineers came this morning and confirmed we have a problem with the seal and thermostat which explains why it has been leaking water and using so much more power than usual! We paid a fortune for a fridge fault diagnostic kit, and the chap today took 5 seconds and used a one dollar bill to check the seal and see it wasn't working properly - the simplest method is always the best! Hopefully, this will be fairly straightforward to fix once we have the parts. The headsail has also gone to be mended and thoroughly checked over and we will collect and re-hoist that on our return - there is always something.
The list of jobs has now almost been completed, this was one of them, and we might get a bit of R&R time later this afternoon!

The blog will re-start once we return in February.
