We met a lovely mature artist whose studio was the outdoors “to escape family and distractions indoors.”

She was working out of the back of her estate car, using the boot for shade. However, she had numerous distractions from passers by, who wanted to look at her work. Seemed to be preferable to family though!

There was a wonderful collection of businesses, a few shops, a gallery, a chandlers and a deli. All very laid back.
