The 9/11 Memorial - the twin reflective North and South Pools built on the footprints of the twin towers.

The South Pool. The pools are surrounded by the names of every person who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and oft forgotten February 26, 1993 inscribed in bronze. Each person’s birthday is commemorated by inserting a rose into the name.

The South Pool with the backdrop of the new 4 Trade Center building. The original building was also badly damaged in the 9/11 attack.
