Anchored outside the marina to arrange a berth. It didn't look hopeful. There were an unusually large number of well-found yachts at anchor outside the marina. The Carrenage area was littered with half sunken boats, two floating dry docks which were fully occupied with quick turnaround repairs and piles of debris on the shore. All the result of hurricane Maria. The marina was full with boats in for repairs, the lagoon was also full (but looked like a haven for mosquitos anyhow). So we anchored close to shore in one of the few spaces left making use of our lifting keel and shallow draft. Very smug! Big mistake!!!
