Decks are scrubbed, sails all on, fuelled up, gassed up and enough food to last a month (or that’s what it looks like!).  Hire car dropped into the city and back on the train to Sandringham where the champagne is cold.
Weather not looking too back, after two beautiful days and a bit of thunder and lightening this morning, no wind??

Tim Browning joining us at 2.00 am, arriving just before the Wallabies win the World Cup... after a flight from Perth – not sure who’s getting up to let him in the gate at the marina..................we might have to draw straws on that one!  Already on board with us is Paul Browning and Bryce Greatorex from Kalgoorlie, with Tracy Browning joining the voyage in Port Lincoln around next Saturday?????

Heading for Queenscliff in the morning and staying over night in a pen at the Marina, then out through the ‘Rip’ first thing Monday morning for Kangaroo Island.  Kaye and Ted (and maybe Hannah if they can get the teenager out of bed at 6 on a Sunday) will be here to see us off.  A big thankyou to them for looking after us on our visits to Melbourne over the past 6 months getting Scarlet ready for voyaging.

Off to the Sandringham Yacht Club for a last yummy meal.

Cheers and beers from the Crew of Scarlet Ribbon.................................
