Attigny to Rethel, just 19 km and 4 locks - All went well, now we moves like snails

Rain, not good. We are lucky to have internet connection. Weather forecast says, rain ends 14 and sun 18.
Today was a short leg and we actually started 13:30, no rain. Came to Rethel and the sun starteded to shine. Yes, it helpes.
Yet another way to lock. And it works.
Last lock before Rethel. One of these old nasty ones. But now we now the trick, move like a snail. It worked.
And Grete in the front is a great help, like having a mobile monitor in the front. We didn’t touch a thing today.
Just before Rethel. Beautiful autumn clouds is starting to show. But when the sun comes out it’s still nice and warm. Well deserved showers today, dressed just in shorts.
Tomorrow will be a rest day.
