Leaving Kampen at 10.10 and it's a beautiful morning.
Fixing a bit, as always on a boat, and passing by the bakery for some fresh bread for lunch just before leaving.
Of we go, feels good. On the country side there are lots of cows and sheeps everywhere, plenty of birdlife. We spoted three storks. I'm happy to see storks, it reminds me of my childhood when we always had storks passing by on their way to the south.
We are cruising along very well, 6,5 knots (ca 10 km/hours) and we are enjoing the landscape passing by along the river. Today we have travelled 56 NM and ending up in this little marina called Gelre, in the mittle of Zutphen. Again moored close to the cozy old town.
We arrived at 18.10 yesterday. Today we will explore this nice little city by bike.
Yesterday we travelled a bit longer than expected due to the current against us.
Zutphen is a beautiful small city. Saturday there was some kind of music festival, everywhere in the center small brass bands were playing and it was crowded with people enjoying the music, the sun and the streetlife. Nice.
