Las Palmas, Gran Canaria - Marina Mindelo, Sao Vicente, Cape Verdes 865 Nm  16 53 22 N  24 59 49 W

January 10th we left Marina Las Palmas and 123 hours (about 5 days) later we arrived in Cape Verdes.
120 hours of sailing, the longest sailing run by far for us.
First half 6,5 knots in average, second part 7,5. Means average speed overall 7,5 knots. WOW!
222 degrees all the way. Our auto pilot, Otto, served us very well. Probably the most valuable crew member.

Two yankees in the front. Worked like a dream.
We where even able to furl both of them at the same time.

With this set up there was no wear at all.

Very relaxed.

Arriving at Cape Verdes. Safe and sound.
YES! There are 10 islands. Santo Antao in the back ground.

Regards to all of you from
