Porto Santo, Madeira Group  2-9 October

Sightseeing of course. A two hour trip (8 Euros/p) and in less then 2 hours we saw this little island.
No need to hire a scooter or car.
One of the view points. We where safe at anchor in the bay outside the little marina.
It has been very windy a couple of days.
Walking distance to town along the sandy beach.
The last days we have been using a fixed buoy. More sheltered and easier to get to shore.
You pay a small fee, less then 7 Euros, at anchor or on the buoy. 45 Euro for a week.
And then you can use the showers in the marina.

Very, very, very windy some times here.
Boats on the hard are very securely fastened.

Plenty of wall paintings.
At caf'e de marina. They serve "doses" and nice at very reasonable prices.
This is grilled delicious limpets "Lapas grelhada". A Portuguese speciality.

A walk to town took about 15 minutes.
We really enjoyed our stay here in Porto Santo.
Tomorrow there will be a day sail to Funchal, 41 Nm. Downwind according to PredictWind.

The marina here is running a small marina dead centre in Funchal, only 10 berths, and they
helped us to make reservations there for 5 days.
