Yesterday was "day off".
We took the local bus to Harlingen. It's a 14 km trip and you need to change once. It felt like a long trip, took about an hour.
Anyway, we were looking forward to visit Harlingen because of The Tall Ships Races.
Unfortunately, for ewerybody, the weather was cold and rain pooring down all day.
A lot of people, lots of entertainments everywhere and all these beautiful ships, just amazing. A big happening in all of Harlingen and you were able to buy anything that has to do with sailing.
We came home with an almost new round fender, just 50€, a good prise, that's at least what Fred says!? Since we were invited onbord the Sea Shepherd ship, Brigitte Bardot in Samoa, I have wanted to buy one of their hoodies and of course I found one in Harlingen, a nice memory from Samoa and Holland.
So with a new hoodi, a fender and a new foldable trolly full with stuff from Aldi we entered the bus and started our ride back to Makkum.
