Title: Is it SAD?

I got feedback from somebody about Carpe Diem. Your view was
that it was a little bit sad.
Is it? I had to ask myself. Well as expected there is a change in a life like this, working from 1974 with projects, having employees, always leaving home to get things done...Suddenly we live together, work together and that is the best part. The hard part is Carpe Diem wich is some kind of fatalism, things turn up and you take the opportunity. Opportunities are great, they make you smile, they make you feel fortunated. I think it is not that part I mean. I think the back side of fatalism is that you for example have to wait for the
right weather, as some of you write (Kaj) -haven't you been long enought in UK? Well there is a big storm going on in the Atlantic that affects the whole weather system and we have to wait. At the same time we can take the opportuniity to fix a hatch that needs to be changed,it drives us nuts leaking etc.
I think what I'm trying to do is to write about emotions around this project, the technical
part can be read everywhere else. So if it sounds sad it might be but I still think we are extremely priviledged.
My father used to be a very good person at grabbing opportunities and I admired him for that, he also used to play the guitar.
Now when he is gone I try to learn both, and regret I did not try them before.
