Title: No wind 20:07.4S 169:45.33E

Finally here (or there?). Just 2 miles north of the North shore of Aneityum. On the leward side there is no wind and just a long swell.
The boat has come to rest, we are making 0,9 knots waiting for daylight. It is 4:30 in the morning local time in Vanuatu, we have moved the clocks forward one hour to -11 UTC which means we are closer to home now, every mile westward brings us closer and closer.
From the island we can only see a silouette, and of course it makes you wonder, in the dark ashore, what does it look like and how are the
people doing? We got the message that they have not received promised relieves because of the hurricane Solo, the one that stoped us from coming in the first attempt. Solo did strike here, and even if not as strong as Pam it did not make things better.
I can see ChezNouiz lights coming closer and closer, we have been 10 miles ahead of them but we are waiting. Lil Explorer that has been travelling for 14 days (!) should already be in the Anelghowhat bay waiting for us. Today we will have to declare ourselves in and then we will see how much we can accomplish. This last 24 hours have been so much better than earlier, so much better...
To give yu the right picture, the kids do not complain one bit, they just do their things and as long as they get food and water they are happy. They also sleep all nights, always as a matter of fact. Strange kids, no nightmares, no complications. Yet.
I think the hard part is for those of us that have to get the food done, the boat sailing etc Thats the challenge. Well the first part of the journey is most probably gong to fade in memory like a bad flue, who walks around talking about old flues? Nobody (well somebody).
