Our multi-activity holiday starts and we are at the top of a mountain awaiting the right weather. A break in the clouds and we are able to take to the air, using the thermals to climb to 9,000 ft (we started at 8,500!) and soar over the city. We are glad of our coats, long trousers and boots. Our pilots were superb with great take offs, perfect landings and new looking canopies. This was not the case with some of the other companies; we felt we had the best. Caroline is already on kissing and hugging terms with our guide Nicolas who is a perfect guide. We met the other individual in our party today, but unfortunately he is afraid of heights! A very good start to the day. We followed this with a fabulous lunch at a Peruvian/Japanese fusion restaurant, but the rain is coming down in stairrods with the roads starting to flood. We are due to visit District 13 and debate cancelling, but decide not to.
