Title: St Andrew's Bay and Gold Harbour

Yet more stunning wildlife viewing in the morning, but the afternoon's landingwas our only cancelled attempt with wind speeds a steady 40-60knots. We also saw our first icebergs – 1-3 miles long, tabular – humungous.

The ship tried to reach the South Orkneys, but sea ice stood in our way so we changed course.
