The start of our journey back south.  We have to meet the Jeanneau agent in Martinique re warranty repairs before Nina and I sail to Curacao to lay up for hurricane season.

First stop Pigeon Island, Guadeloupe.  The conditions were challenging - a fetch in 20-25kts wind with gusts up to 30kts!  There was also quite a big swell as it has been blowing 20kts plus for several days.  It was a wet and wild ride but Safena took it like a champ!

We anchored off Malendure and enjoyed sunset over Pigeon Island.

The following morning we had hoped to do some snorkelling here in the national park.  Unfortunately it was too windy and the weather poor (for a change!), cloudy and drizzly.  We will have to come back for this.
