Good Morning,

We arrived at Marina Rubicon on the South Coast of Lanzarote yesterday evening around 1930 where we met up with Angus's family and went for a few drinks, it was nice to meet them all and we said farewell to them and Angus as we headed back to Sadie for some kip, but only till Tuesday as they offered to give us a lift to the airport, which was very kind.

We went to, what was stated to be, a supermarket this morning but only to find a stale loaf and some packet ham, perhaps they have a deal with the local restaurants to encourage any yachtsmen to eat there instead of cooking on board, not to worry, we have plenty of tins in stock.

Tim and I left the Marina around 0930 and are currenty sailing down wind, we have just hoisted the spinnaker and flying down the East Coast of Fuerteventura to Gran Tarajal where we intend to leave the boat until November. with our first sail change it has already been noticed what a difference a third person on board makes.

I hope to tear the scruff from my face later today, that has been festering for the past few weeks much to the delight of my Father and lovely girlfriend, Lydia, not that I am much of a fan myself but it has been interesting to watch it develop, nonetheless I will be happy to get rid of it, can't be having another ginger in the family :-)

The fishing lines are out again today in the hope to keep any tins from being opened, we haven't had a bite since our crossing from Madeira but we can always hope.

Later on today we will pass the 2000 mile mark just as we head on the last leg of our journey into Gran Tarajal.

All the Best for now,

~Sadie~
