Morning All
Wills here,
It is with great regret that I have to inform you
that, last night, during the evening entertainment, Tim won Rummy, by a long
shot, it was painful but I'm keeping my chin up and looking forward to a
thrashing in the future!
The wind died in the night to less than was worth
sailing in so the engine went on at about 1500 revs so not to use too much fuel
but actually keep the speed above 4kts.
At about 9am as the glorious sun was rising, the
wind slightly increased, beginning with headsail and main, we have now moved on
to the mighty spinnaker!! The sunshine is bliss, English music is booming
and sausage, beans and boiled eggs cooking :-) Spirits are high!
The new candy line that was run up inside the mast
and was being used for the spinakker halyard did snap shortly after the first
hoist and it was looking like a trip up the mast for me until I remembered the
spair halyard now installed for the second foresail, my climb saved, for now and
the spinnaker was soon up and sailing again.
After losing 2 lines on our last fishing foray, Tim
has now made what he hopes is the killer lumious squid lure, just waiting for
something to take it!
Grapefruit or an Orange for me before our late
morning fry up, courtesy of Angus, cake and snacks later (yes more cake!)
Dinner will depend on how successful the days
fishing is, if no fish/dolphin/seweed, it will be chicken balti which is already
half prepared.
Thanks for all the messages, hope you're all
enjoying your weekend as much as we are and lets hope Murray pulls it
off!!
All the best
Sadie
