Our position at 12 00 on 27 June is 38:29.0N 035:49.5W . We have about 339 nm to run to Horta in the Azores and we have completed 52 nm in the last day. Thirteen full days completed.

June 26 – The bread was good but the wind in on the wane and the forecast is for light winds for the next few days. So there you go. Even so we are making 3 kts on course, the sun is shining and the water is sparkling and calm.

In the evening the wind died but we hung in there.

27 June – Well its about 06 00 and we are drifting, are but there is a rustling and a little wind appears. We head off on a run very slowly though. Our port run is now a starboard reach and then a a starboard fetch and we are making a little progress. I fear that we will have these conditions for a few days so any spectacular mileages are a thing of the recent past.
