Delayed again!

First mate here - although I won't be fulfilling any first mate duties at sea for a while, as we have had yet another setback! Pete was servicing the forward toilet today when he found that the seacock had seized and will have to be replaced. Unfortunately that means Roysterer will have to come out of the water, and they can't fit us in until Friday. We're hoping that it will go smoothly and she will be back in the water the same day, but we shall see. We greased all the other seacocks when she was out of the water, but couldn't reach that one. Should have persevered!

However it's  not all bad, as there are gusts of up to 30 knots today and the same forecast for the next couple of days, and the waves are quite high. It's supposed to calm down at the weekend, so hopefully we shall be on our way with fair winds and calm seas then.

Peter and Christene are here preparing Oojah for the passage  north, we're off to Happy Hour at the Crow's Nest with them later.

The pictures are of Pete putting up our improvised boom tent, then taking a nap to test it out. The other one is of me walking through the marina, which really seems like home from home now. We've had some lovely neighbours - Phil from Canada, and Michael and Diarmiud from Cork on Transendence. We're on our own at the moment, although a boat has moored opposite, blocking my view from the cockpit (see boom tent picture). Some people have no consideration!
