Day 3 was a delayed start due to problems with engine mountings.

The boat left harbour 12.30 and progressed to a schedules overnight stop in Finlet a small fishing village west coat of Ireland.

Sea conditions were good in the Atlantic and apart from several interruptions from Dolphins we were back on track.

We were contacted by the boys about 14:30 and they told us they wanted to go further. We reconfigured the course and ended up in Westport, just above Galway.

Our refuelling truck, who had been diverted twice today appeared about 22:00 in good spirits and we finished refuelling the boat about 00:00.
