So, here we are in Santa Marta Columbia. What at great place. All the locals are really friendly & finally it feels like we are somewhere new. There are lots of police around which is sort of comforting but also you wonder why they need so many. Hmmm.
When we arrived we were the first of around 15 boats to arrive from Aruba on the Rally. The coast guard came out to great us, followed by the local navy/security in a high-powered rib. They both greated us before moving to the next boat.
Yesterday we donated our catch of fish, along with Blue & Arkouda to provide a BBQ for all the rally boats. Everyone bought along a dish & a great time was had. A great mix of boats & people.
We then hit the town where the cocktails are just over £1. Life is very cheap here :-)
Today we were up in the local mountains walking in the jungle to a coffee plantation.

Our current position in Columbia 11:14.552N 074:13.077W
