It sounds like a Mexican chant but Aruba is a small island north of Venezuela. We are anchored off the town of Oranjestad. A shoppers paradise with lots of designer shops. Last night they had a street carnival that we were lucky enough to be ashore for. If you think of Rio then it was a bit like that, very loud & colorful.

We've met up with the OCC rally and are now cruising with around 20 other boats. We'll be here until Wednesday morning & then we're off to Santa Marta in Columbia.

Just heard that this year will be an El Nino year so it could affect the planned trip across the Pacific. Time will tell.
