The second last supper

With 266 miles to go the finishing line is in sight. ETA Sunday lunchtime all going well, we have a steady wind of 20 knots from behind which is pushing us along nicely. With that we have a confused sea sea which is not so good, 2 different wave patterns are combining to toss the boat around even more than usual which makes cooking etc quite challenging.

That said the skipper managed to rustle together some fried eggs, beans and toast for lunch.

All are well on board and the anticipation of sighting land, coming along side and hitting the bar is building.

Fingers crossed that all continues as well as it has so far, we heard another story from a boat this morning that we have been speaking with daily, one of their crew hurt their hand on a winch day one and it's still swollen and sore. Another lost his genoa halyard and does not have a spare so is sailing with just his main sail & staysail.
