The one that got away

Still sailing south west, although we are heading further west than originally planned. Last night we had 35kts gusts which made us reef down but mainly we've been sailing with a full main & polled out genoa. We managed a 204nm day yesterday and today that has dropped to just under a 200nm pace. It's not often you get 200nm days so the going is very good!
We've been doing a bit of Astro-nav & tried a bit of fishing. We hooked one but before we could slow the boat down from 8-9knts the knot on the hook came untied & he got away. I don't think it was very big but it would have been nice to land him. I'm re-doing all the lure knots & we'll try again tomorrow, the 22nd.
