We left Yacht Haven on Wednesday after getting the bow thruster fixed in the morning and arrived at a pretty anchorage at Koh Hong. As soon as we put the anchor down a local longtail fishing boat offered us fresh prawns, fish and crab. We paid 500 baht (about $15) and got about 1.5 kgs of prawns so we enjoyed a beautiful dinner of chilli, garlic and ginger prawns - just delicious! The weather that evening was very windy and we had an uncomfortable night being thrown about because of the wind against tide (very strong currents surrounded the islands where we anchored). In the morning Greg and I went in the dinghy to explore the nearby hong and to see if the ocean was any more settled through the passage - no luck and our dinghy stalled coming back to the boat in a flooding tide - so out with the oars and a frantic paddle back to the boat.
