During last night we crossed the halfway mark. We are now getting closer to the land of plenty (i.e. plenty of rum)
So we have to go through another champagne celebration with fruitcake tonight. It’s a hard trip.
There is now approximately 1400 nm to go.
The wind is astern flicking from ENE to ESE of our stern as we travel down our track of c.260T.
Our strategy is to gybe when it flicks to optimise our pace but to also drift south of the direct track in order to max the trade wind benefits
and on our final approach to St L to reach in from the south where there is also a boost from a 1.5 Knot current  that will carry us the same way.
