Saturday 20th September. Left home in Hythe at 5:00 am to catch early flight back to Palma from Southampton. We were only home for 4 days but a lot was packed in, including a black tie dinner in London, arranging for some electrical repairs on Blue Skies, taking a test drive on an alternative motor boat, agreeing subject to survey to buy said motor boat and, separately, to sell Blue Skies, subject to survey, for which an offer had fortuitously been made whilst we were home, and to visit the Southampton Boat Show, not forget a dinner in a local hostelry with friends. After that exhausting episode we stayed a further night in Palma.
Sunday 21st September. We moved back to the anchorage at Santa Ponsa and stayed 3 nights, enjoying the still warm water for frequent swims. Now that the school age children have left the resort, it seems to have been invaded by a human species that is overweight, heavily tattooed (both genders) and not very mobile, with participants from most large european countries.
Mid week and the weather is changing with thunderstorms over the last day or so. On Wednesday we moved to the town quay at Andraitx, where we shall stay until there is a settled patch of weather to make the crossing back to Sant Carles.
