We are currently in Lanzarote, Canary Islands. We had a good trip down from Palma, with a short stop in Porto Banus on the south coast of Spain 40nm before Straits of Gibraltar, as the weather in the Atlantic was poor, so we waited it out, and had a calm trip to Lanzarote.

The boat and crew are working fine, and we are all learning each day, which is nice and productive.

We have been in Lanzarote for 2 and half days, cleaning up, fuelling up and finishing off some routine maintenance while we have the chasnce. The main engine has been serviced and all parts of the yacht have been carefully check, as we have no support or safehavens for 2,700nm.

We will set sail tomorrow, Sunday 2nd December, and hope to be in Antigua within 14 days, so 14th or 15th December.

The forecast looks quite promising, it will be a little light for the first couple of days, before a northerly wind which will help us sail. Then the trade winds will start to blow from the East and hopefully with enough velocity to help us along quickly.

I will try to update every few days.
