The wind continued to blow hard over night but by late morning was easing.  It cleared into a glorious hot and sunny day which was nice and I had a quiet day in the cockpit with a book.

Richard has washed down the decks after the recent rain, hosing off all the sand which has come down.  He has also re-polished the windows on the cockpit enclosure so we can see out again.

Early evening he went for a wander into town in search of meat, returning with a ready cooked chicken from Monoprix as most of the market stalls had closed.

Tonight we have stayed on board and I have finished my book.
