Monday 13th April – Cagliari (Bank Holiday weather)

After a few early showers this morning, the sun shone by lunchtime so I dug out the washing machine and caught up with the washing.  It had just managed to dry before the rain set in again early evening.

Frustratingly, although the wind has remained light in the marina all day, offshore there have been gales in all directions thwarting our departure L

Richard took the opportunity of the fine weather this afternoon to clean a few more fenders – they are taking a lot of scrubbing to restore them to some semblance of white.

Sarah brought over a present for me – a cotton bag to store my home made bread in.  She had made it for me as she is one of those gifted souls who knows what a sewing machine is; given my sewing skills, or lack thereof, she couldn’t have chosen a better gift.  So into it went my fresh batch of tomato bread this evening.
