Friday 13^th March – Cagliari (Art Exhibition)

This morning we were spurred into action by a text message from Lynne and Lon (Mascot3) to say that they were getting on an earlier flight from Rome and would be here by 10.30am.  I quickly dressed and grabbed Anne (Wandering Dragon) and a marina car and the two of us popped out to the airport to pick them up.  After flying here from the US they were exhausted and so we delivered them to Mascot3 and let them get some sleep.

This weekend the Art Class are having a small exhibition of our work in the gazebo so everyone can see what we have been doing in class.  So on our return from the airport, we took our artwork to the gazebo and Delores arranged all the paintings along the back wall. 

This afternoon Richard went off shopping to get some more bits for the bikes, and again later to look for a dive belt and weights J

This evening we had the preview session for the exhibition with everyone from the marina, complete with wine and nibbles.  The final display was very impressive, there are some very good paintings.
