Wednesday 11^th March – Cagliari (More strong winds and flying glasses)

Today the wind blew up again, making it fairly lively even in the shelter of the marina.

Early this afternoon we ventured off the boat, me to a meeting at the gazebo and Richard to take the rubbish up to the bin.  However, then disaster struck…

As Richard walked up past the gazebo onto the mole, a strong gust ripped his glasses from his head.  They were lifted up and away for several meters across the mole and then the water before they took an unceremonious dive into the depths of the marina.

Richard donned his wetsuit to take a look but the visibility in the water was too low.  Tomorrow is going to be an expensive trip into town if we can’t locate them in the morning L
