Wednesday 13th August – Cala de Santa Ponsa, Mallorca (Paguera)

Last night we still had some swell in the bay and it made for a restless night when the breeze turned us beam on.

The weather is due to become more unsettled for a few days and this morning the stronger NE wind forecast delivered on time, gusting through the anchorage during the morning and afternoon.  Fortunately it was coming from land so the anchorage was relatively flat, and the wind had the benefit of smoothing out the swell we had been suffering.

Richard went ashore for bread for lunch and to top-up the phone, then this afternoon we ran the generator for several hours and gave the batteries a really good charge J  I continued with the mossie nets and almost finished the final one.

Late afternoon Peter and Carola came round with a bottle of wine and after finishing it, it seemed like a good idea to go out for pizza so we all piled into the rib boat and off to Paguera.

Needless to say we were late back to Pyxis and are now so tired that we think we will sleep whatever the weather.
