Thursday 31st July – Cala de Santa Ponsa, Mallorca

Last night we slept soundly again J

We awoke to the sound of an anchor chain rattling nearby – Wandering Dragon were up early and on the move; we waved ‘au revoir’ and then went back to bed.

After breakfast we did a burst of reading and sunbathing and then set to work.

I have been working on the design and production of some more mossie-nets, this time for the main hatch; Richard has got on with some general maintenance items down below before going into the nearby marina to the chandlery this evening (always something he needs).

Today has been very hot and, as previously, the motor-boats visiting for the day have been causing swell.

This evening the anchorage has filled right up with yachts; we have been on watch to try to ensure that no one drops their anchor across our chain L

We had a pleasant sun downer onboard Moonshadow before returning to Pyxis to cook dinner.  Tonight the cloud has rolled in and it is a little cooler.
