Friday 18^th January – Vilamoura

Sorry guys but this is not what you want to hear: it was a fabulously sunny day here in Vilamoura, with clear blue skies.  I did some sunbathing and a bit of cooking; Richard ordered a few bits on the internet and then started work on polishing the decks (and building up his tan). 

Peter and Carola arrived back in Lagos from their winter break this week and this afternoon drove over to visit us; it was great to see them again and catch up.

This evening I served up Somerset pork and sea bass, and then we visited the Old Navy for some music – the band now recognise us as locals and are very friendly; they played all the old favourites and we danced our way through to midnight.
